Best of Dublin Contest Rules 2025
- Votes can only be made by completing the online form at www.bestofdublinca.com. All voting entries must have voters’ complete information, or votes will not be counted.
- Only one vote per category per person is allowed. Winners are chosen by those who fully complete the online voting ballot.
- Nominees must be physically located in the City of Dublin, California or have an active Dublin Chamber of Commerce membership. ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE VERIFIED via the Business License database, social media, and registered website. All votes must be received no later than Friday, September 12, 2025. Chamber members in good standing as of August 1, 2025, are automatically entered into the contest. Members will be nominated into their primary business category listed with the Dublin Chamber. Those members who pay the non-profit membership rate will be automatically nominated by the Dublin Chamber into either “Best Charitable Organization,” “Best Service Club/Community Group”, “Best Church or Place of Worship” or “Best Private Foundation.” Members when claiming their listing can nominate themselves into no more than two other categories.
- In the interest of fairness to all participants, nominees may not be listed in any more than 3 categories during the 2025 Best of Dublin. Nominees must stick to their categories for the duration of the timeline once voting begins. Categories have been chosen based on potential contestants within the City of Dublin. Should a specific category have two or less potential contenders in a prior year, that category may be combined with a broader category in the interest of competition thus opening availability for new categories that were not represented in prior contests. A few Dublin Chamber business categories may not be included in the contest since their business is not suited for this type of competition, or they are the only provider in Dublin. e.g.: developers, government agencies, elected individuals, individuals, and public venues and festivals, and utilities. Private venues will be included.
- If a business is caught “Stuffing Ballots,” breaking any of our security measures, and submitting multiple ballots with the voting focus on the same business and or businesses, the software will automatically flag these incidents and may be scrubbed from multiple categories should they exceed the number allowed. We have a responsibility to the businesses that participate in providing a fair and accurate voting process that ensures that no one abuses the integrity of the online competition.
- The Best of Dublin facilitators reserve the right to remove any business that has entered the competition incorrectly or has used marketing materials, badges, language, or behavior that is not in line with the competition. Participants who violate the rules will receive a written warning about the incident.
- By participating in Best of Dublin, you grant us permission to use your business name, likeness, and or image in our marketing and promotional materials related to the competition and/or party. All Best of Dublin competition results are held privately by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.
- Winners and runners up will be announced October 2, 2024 on Social Media and in person. Winners will receive a certificate, other promotional materials, and bragging rights.
