About this Nominee
Since 2010, Smart Start Montessori Preschool and Daycare has been providing a safe, nurturing, and professional home-based program for children ages 4 months to 12 years. With extensive training and experience in infant and toddler care, she offers gentle, attentive care for the youngest ones while supporting early milestones through sensory play, music, and language exposure.
For preschoolers, our Montessori-based curriculum fosters independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Children benefit from:
• Individualized curriculum aligned with Common Core standards
• Early reading, writing, comprehension, and handwriting development
• One-on-one instruction and small group lessons in both ELA and Math
• A strong academic foundation to prepare them well ahead of kindergarten
The program also welcomes after-school children in a safe, supportive environment. Two healthy snacks and a nutritious lunch are provided daily, and excellent references are available upon request.
